To participate in the mining and reward system on the Whiffin platform, users must hold a Genesis Device NFT and craft pods in the VapeSmith. Once the physical devices are delivered, users can link the device to the NFT and earn higher rewards with physical vaping devices and pods. Additional elements, such as props and guilds, can help increase mining efficiency, providing more opportunities for rewards.
The Genesis Device NFT serves as a user’s identity and provides access to mining rewards. It will soon be available for purchase, with an initial release of 10,000 units. Whitelisted users will enjoy a discount on their purchase.
At the time of purchase, all Genesis Device NFTs have the same attributes. NFT holders can equip virtual pods to mine rewards daily. To improve mining efficiency, users can upgrade their NFTs to higher levels within a certain level cap.
Once the device is ready for delivery (approximately one quarter after the sale), users will be able to redeem one NFT for one physical device and six pods with the most popular flavors. Please note that the NFT can only be traded if it hasn’t been redeemed for a physical device.
After receiving the physical device, users can link it to their NFT to unlock additional benefits and higher rewards. For example, the NFT can be upgraded to much higher levels beyond the previous level cap to enhance mining efficiency, and users will gain access to advanced props that further boost their mining rewards.
Device holders earn different rewards by equipping their devices with various pods.
Ordinary pods are used to mine WIN Points (WPs), which serve as the reference for future airdrops of the native token $WIN. Users will share the Basic $WIN Airdrop Pool based on their WPs holdings at the time of $WIN TGE, offering all contributors an equal opportunity to profit from their engagement and participation. WPs can also be used to purchase props within the mini-game.
The mining efficiency depends on the flavor and ingredient ratios.
Mining occurs in 20-minute sessions triggered by tapping the device, equating to approximately 250 puffs per session. Each ordinary pod has a fixed lifespan of 1,000 puffs, meaning users can mine up to four sessions per pod (about 1 hour and 20 minutes).
Users can craft up to five pods per day, allowing for nearly 7 hours of mining activity each day.
Advanced pods mine WIN Credits (WINCs), which serve as a higher-weight reference for future $WIN airdrops compared to WPs. WINC holders will share the Premium $WIN Airdrop Pool based on their WINC holdings at the time of $WIN TGE. This means one WINC will receive more $WIN tokens than one WP. Additionally, WINCs can be used for prop purchases.
Props are special items available for purchase in the Whiffin Shop, designed to enhance mining efficiency and overall performance. The available props include:
Mining Efficiency Boosting Props These props enhance the mining efficiency of pods by a certain percentage, potentially allowing users to earn rewards more effectively. Users can either use WPs or WINCs for one-time purchases or pay with USDT to buy weekly or monthly passes.
NFT Upgrade Props The device NFT can be upgraded using specific props to enhance its mining capabilities. Before the physical device delivery, users can upgrade their Genesis Device NFT, but there is a level cap (e.g., Level 30). Once the physical device is received and activated with the NFT, users can bypass the previous upgrade limitations and further elevate the NFT to its maximum level (e.g., Level 100). The upgrade process takes time, and higher levels require longer upgrade durations. Users can upgrade using WPs or WINCs, but if they choose to pay with USDT, a small amount will allow an immediate upgrade without waiting.
Device Repair Props Vaping devices have fatigue levels, and once these are depleted, the device will stop mining. Repair props can restore the device's fatigue, enabling mining to resume.
VapeSmith Refresh Props These props reset the number of pods that can be crafted in the VapeSmith for the day, giving users the ability to continue experimenting with new pod configurations. Users can purchase these props using WPs or WINCs and choose to refresh between 1 to 5 times, with a daily maximum of 5.
